Professional Teeth Whitening

If you have stained, dull, or discolored teeth, teeth whitening is a great solution. Teeth whitening can be used to help reverse effects of aging or stains from food and tobacco. Our office conveniently offers two options of professional teeth whitening: in-office and at-home.

Please note: the professional whitening material temporarily dehydrates teeth which can lead to temporary sensitivity. This feeling is completely normal and is usually mild. It is important to note that white cosmetic fillings, crowns, veneers, and bridges will NOT whiten.

Our office uses Philips Zoom for both whitening options. Our staff is trained to help patients decide what option is best for their needs and concerns.

IN-OFFICE

Philips Zoom in-office whitening is a procedure designed to lighten the color of your teeth using a combination of prescription grade hydrogen peroxide gel and a specially designed WhiteSpeed ultraviolet lamp. In-office teeth whitening is a great option for patients who are preparing for social events and celebrations, receiving cosmetic work like crowns or veneers, or looking for fast and instant results.

We customize this experience for every patient by creating custom reusable whitening trays, and providing pre- and post-treatment desensitizers that help protect enamel and provide comfort and ease for patients. Results are instantly noticeable with Zoom in-office whitening. You’ll see a brighter smile after your 120-minute appointment.

AT-HOME

Professional at-home whitening kits are available for purchase at our office. At-home whitening is great for patients who want to achieve a whiter and brighter smile without having to interrupt their daily routines. At-home whitening is easy and convenient. The optimal at-home whitening regimen is every day for 14 days. You do not have to follow this recommendation. Some people finish whitening within a few days, while others need to whiten every day for 14 days. This is personal preference based on the level of whiteness you are trying to achieve.
