Composite Enamel Bonding

Bonding is the application of tooth-colored composite resin that helps repair decayed, chipped or discolored teeth. It can be used to fill in spaces between teeth or change the shape of your teeth.

Bonding may also be used for changing the appearance of your smile. Bonding can be an effective alternative to veneers, not quite as durable as veneers, but can still last several years. Bonding treatments can generally be done in one office visit.

If your teeth are stained, chipped, crooked, or have uneven spacing then veneers may be a great solution for you. With dental veneers, you can restore the color, shape, size and length of your teeth. Veneers are considered the best restorative solution for some people and when cared for properly can last many years. They are often made of porcelain and custom-shaped to cover the front surface of each tooth to drastically improve the overall appearance of your smile.

Professional Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is a great option for you if you have stained, dull or discolored teeth. Teeth whitening can be used to help reverse effects of aging or stains from food and tobacco. Our office conveniently offers two options of professional teeth whitening, in-office and at home.

There are a few things to expect with whitening, as the professional whitening material temporarily dehydrates teeth which can lead to temporary sensitivity. Know that this is completely normal and is usually mild. It is important to note that white cosmetic fillings, crowns, veneers and bridges will NOT whiten.

Our office uses Philips Zoom for both our whitening options. Our staff is trained to help patients decide what option is best for their needs and concerns.

In-office: ZOOM! In-office whitening is a procedure designed to lighten the color of your teeth using a combination of prescription grade hydrogen peroxide gel and a specially designed WhiteSpeed ultraviolet lamp. In office teeth whitening is a great option for patients who are preparing for social events and celebrations, are receiving cosmetic work like crowns or veneers, or who are looking for fast and instant results.

We customize this experience for every patient by creating custom reusable whitening trays, and providing pre and post treatment densentizers that help protect enamel and provide comfort and ease for patients. Results are instantly noticeable with Zoom! In office whitening, you’ll see a whiter and brighter smile after your 120 minute appointment.

At Home: Professional at home whitening kits are available for purchase at our office. At home whitening is great for patients who want to achieve a whiter and brighter smile, without having to interrupt their daily routines. At home whitening is easy and convenient. The optimal at-home whitening regimen is everyday for 14 days. You do not have to follow this recommendation. Some people finish whitening within a few days, while others need to whiten every day for 14 days. This is personal preference based on the level of whiteness you are trying to achieve.

Invisalign® takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of clear aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place based on the exact movements your dentist plans out for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You just pop in a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, until your treatment is complete. You’ll achieve a great smile with little interference in your daily life.

Benefits Of Invisalign®

  • It is visually appealing and people won’t even know you’re straightening your teeth.
  •  It is comfortable and easy to wear without affecting your speech.
  • With a removable device, it is more convenient to eat, brush and floss.
  • Invisalign® uses advanced technology to track treatment progress in a virtual model.

Treatment Process

  1. Get an examination from your dentist to determine if you are a candidate.
  2. Photographs of your teeth and face, dental impressions of your teeth, and x-rays will be taken.
  3. A 3D model of your teeth will be created on the computer to ensure an efficient step-by-step process of straightening your teeth.
  4. A set of aligners are created every two weeks. Each tray is constructed so that your teeth are slightly straighter than the previous tray.
  5. Upon treatment completion, enjoy a healthy and beautiful smile.
